Hike to Roque Nublo in the middle of the island and take a picture with 2 monoliths

 

Ask for a shot of honey rum (“Ron Miel”) after lunch – it’s surprisingly super sweet and doesn’t contain much alcohol

 

Book a session with Pure Yoga Canarias and enjoy yoga with the ocean view

 

Walk to “El Confital” beach – a famous surf spot which is also a perfect place to have a picnic, sunbathe, chill and enjoy the view of the whole Las Canteras beach

 

Visit “Casa de Colón“, also known as Columbus’ House. Inside the museum you can get information about the role played by the Canary Islands during Columbus’ journeys, see the model galleon and visit an art gallery

 

Have “Churros” for breakfast in Churrería Guanarteme (Pro tip: Dip them into the cup of chocolate, café con leche or just sprinkle with sugar)

 

Have a work break with a can of Tropical Limón – refreshing lemon beer with only a bit of alcohol (Pro tip: be sure that the dog on the logo has a blue colour – it means that the can is cold!)

 

Plan a trip to the Arehucas rum distillery in Arucas and join a free tour which ends with free rum tasting. Try to not buy all the bottles of caramel rum!

 

Have a triple Mumbai sandwich and watch the surfers at La Cícer

 

Try the best fried squid and grilled octopus in Casa Carmelo (it’s a very local place, don’t expect anything fancy)

 

Try fajitas in the famous surfer’s fast food Café Central

 

Have you tried Stand Up Paddle surfing? At night? We thought not!
